The main task of the Department is to promote and implement the scientific achievements of IPGR Sadovo, to establish contacts with producers, to organize seed production and marketing of seeds, to provide consultancy and marketing.

Main activities:

• Promote and develop the scientific activities of the  Institute of Plant Genetic Resources;
• Organize and implement exhibitions, demonstration fields and open days;
• Prepare contracts related to the introduction of new varieties in the country and abroad, as well as implementation of joint seed production;
• Provides high-quality seeds with guaranteed authenticity of varieties for seed production and seed areas;
• Performs consulting and various forms of training for professionals, tenants and farmers;
• Prepare projects and organizes training courses, seminars and workshops;
• Prepare marketing research related activities of the Institute and the needs of manufacturers.
